The Anse Soleil Beachcomber Hotel is in the «beautiful south» of Mahe island, tucked away at the end of a small peninsular on the «sunset coast».

Baie Lazare is the next small village 2.2 km away at the main coastal road, and it is here that you may enter a bus, do some shopping or just enjoy the laid back routine of daily life.

The area is well dotted with artists' residences, probably the most famous being the painter Michael Adams, but some not so well

known are worth a visit as well. Souvenir shopping at Pineapple Studios is highly recommended.

And of course most of the finest beaches of Mahe are in the area.
